Imaginary Friends

New research shows that imaginary friends continue longer into childhood than previously thought. Claire Lerner, Senior Parenting Strategist at Zero to Three, discusses why older children may have imaginary friends.  She also discusses what an imaginary friend can do for your child and how you should react when your child tells you that she has an imaginary friend.

  1. Hello ladies,

I’ve learned of your podcast a few weeks ago and I am obsessed. Thank you for all your great advice!!! I have an almost nine month old baby and it has been a great change in our lives. I’m an attorney and have been working for the past few years. With the baby, it has been very hard to work and do it all. We have decided that it would be best for me to stay home with our son. Do you have ladies have any advice for me in this new big change?
